Designer Vs Developer
If
        (You hate me)
    Then
        (You can go to www.!@#$-off.com)
    Else
        (We can talk things out
        and work together!)
    END If

- Photoshop is not the same as web pages,
some things are impossible to do on the Web,
so I have to simplify the design.

    - Discuss with me WHILE designing, not afterwards.

    - Ask me if an effect is buildable!

- Make sure you are designing in RGB mode.

    - Give me the exact color codes!

    - Colours look different on a Mac and CMYK.

- Each browser has its own quirks with spacing!
It is impossible to make the design look same
    in every browser.

    - Don't be afraid to point out to me
your issues and we will fix them together.

- There are limitations when I start coding,
your design might not be practical on the Web

    - It is not only about form but also function

    - PS. Stop using drop shadow on every text!

- I know nuts about design principles!
I don't know the art of negative and positive space.
I will assume that if I can read it, it is fine!

    - If you want me to be as precise as possible,
      specify the exact widths, heights,
      margin and paddings.

- Flash is dead! It doesn't work on mobile
which is crucial in today's digital age!

    - It loads very slowly and is bad for SEO.

    - Discuss with me and we will look for
      better alternatives.

- I might not have the font in my computer.

    - It is better to use web-safe fonts.

    - If we must use that specific font, send me
a copy of the font so that I can use it!

- Teach me some basic design principles!

    - Explain to me the rationale of your design
if I happen to ignore your details.

    - Tell me when I have broke a design rule
so that I can fix it.

- Make sure you are designing in 72dpi!

    - Make sure the width is within the 930-970px range
That is the normal size for a webpage, if it is
bigger, I would have to adjust it!

- Tell me what fonts exactly to use
for headings, sub-headings and other areas.

    - Tell me the exact kerning, leading, etc

    - Explain to me in simple terms,
      not designer terms!
eg. Leading = space between lines

- Make sure the background is TILEABLE!

    - If it is not possible to tile it,
make sure the background is enough
to fit into a 1920x1600px so that
it does not get cut off when viewed
      from bigger screens!

- Please remember to name your 50,000 layers
    in Photoshop!

    - If the layers are not organized,
it is easy for me to miss some details
      in your designs.
